Wormwood Scrubs - Keith was sent here on June 29, 1967 after being found guilty of allowing his home to be used for the consumption of cannabis. He was sentenced to twelve months imprisonment but only spent one night in jail getting bail pending his appeal.
Please send in pics of yourselves at well known Keith sites
In 1994 Cindy P & friends visited Redlands, the scene of the infamous drugs bust. The house is very secluded and not much is visible from the public highway. However Cindy learnt from locals that Keith was staying there and his Bentley was spotted within the grounds.
On the day before the Rolling Stones concert at Nikaia Stadium, Nice, Jacopo and his friends went on a pilgrimage to Nellcote.
On August 7, 2006 they spent the day on the beach at Villefranche-sur-Mer before heading to the famous Villa Keith rented in 1971. Here they were having their photographs taken at the gates when a surprise happened upon them.............

...............Who should turn up? None other than Ronnie Wood, come to look at Nellcote for himself. Ronnie stopped the car, wound down the darkened windows and took long enough to shake hands and have his picture taken. What a result!

Empress Ballroom, Blackpool.
This was the stage from where the Battle of Blackpool began. On July 24, 1964 the Stones were playing to a capacity audience who in the main comprised of drunken Scotsmen on their annual holiday. One character leaning with his hands on the stage was seen by Keith to be the ringleader directing dozens of others to spit at Brian Jones. Keith warned him, but he replied with lump of phlegm aimed at our hero. Keith brought his heel down hard on the bully's hands, then in an instant put his Chelsea boot into the Scotsman's nose, splitting it wide open. The place erupted and the Stones had to get out of there fast. The stage area was trashed, but the Stones got out alive!

In 1977 the Stones planned five nights of gigs here for some live recording. It was this that brought Keith to Toronto and his 'appointment' with the Mounties.

Pictured above in Queensgate, London is the site of the Imperial Hotel. Now a building site being used as a car park, the basement of the property housed the ultra-trendy Blaise's club. Performers here in the late 60s/early 70s included Pink Floyd, Hawkwind and Jimi Hendrix.
It was to here Keith and Brian headed after seeing Bob Dylan go electric at the legendary Royal Albert Hall gig of May 26, 1966. Dylan arrived later on and said to Keith straight out "I could write 'Satisfaction' but you couldn't write 'Mr. Tambourine Man'." Keith, allegedly was quite wary of Dylan's sharp tongue but later, after a few drinks, had a swing at Dylan and a small melee ensued. His Bobness having to be rescued by Tom Keylock, Keith's minder who he had lent to Dylan for the duration of his British dates.
Below is a rare photograph showing something of the interior of Blaise's.

Before the well-known meeting with Mick on Dartford railway station, Keith crossed Jagger's path during the summer of 1960. It was the first time they'd met since being at school together. Mick had a job selling ice-creams outside Dartford library in front of the town's war memorial. Keith bought a vanilla cone and had a short conversation with Mick.

Keith on the prompting of girlfriend Linda Keith, went to see Jimi Hendrix perform here for the first time on July 2, 1966.
It became clear to Keith that Linda had been seeing Jimi. She even 'loaned' him one of Keith's new stratocasters, even allowing Hendrix use of Keith's hotel suite and limousine while he was with the Stones on the west coast leg of their North American Tour.
Keith never did bear a grudge against Jimi. The relationship with Linda was in its death throes anyway.
